LIGHTS NOT WORKING

AdobeStock_422118338.jpeg

Lights that stop working without warning can be frustrating and confusing. Sometimes it’s just one fixture, while other times an entire area of the home goes dark. This issue can appear suddenly or get worse over time.

Serving homeowners in Dayton and surrounding areas.

Common reasons this happens:

Non-working lights are often caused by faulty switches, loose wiring, bad connections, or issues inside the fixture itself. In older homes, worn wiring or shared circuits can also cause lights to fail or flicker.

When to call an electrician:
If replacing bulbs doesn’t fix the issue, or lights flicker, dim, or stop working altogether, it’s best to have the wiring inspected. Electrical problems behind walls aren’t always visible and should be handled by a professional to ensure safety.
